2015 The Year of “Conscious” Business In Practice

January 18, 2015

consciousbusiness The concept of conscious business has been around for a while.

Many believe that Anita Roddick pioneered the conscious business movement with her company, The Body Shop in 1976. This company has been an environmental leader, and worked to support various activist causes including putting an end to animal testing, and defending human rights.

An overwhelming amount of conscious businesses can be found in the health food industry as well as the LOHAS (lifestyles of health and sustainability) market. However, today conscious businesses can be found emerging in almost all aspects of the business world.

Conscious business is about people who live their lives based on knowing that everything is interconnected. It is about people, who know who they are:

  • Fully accountable for personal behavior including thoughts, approaches and actions
  • A deep sense of connection to the people, and the planet
  • A desire to create a workplace that allows individuality, creativity and contribution

And there are new disciplines emerging that assist business leaders to create conscious workplaces. A new technology that is being made available to corporations and has been around for over thirty years in the health industry is called Epstein Technologies. Dr. Donald Epstein has created groundbreaking health concepts that are now being made available to the corporate world.

The many years of research and articles on re-organizational living have been featured in multiple University publications. Effective February 1, 2015 we are launching the groundbreaking first three corporate programs to the business marketplace.

Through Keynotes, Training and Consulting we will be providing (r) evolutionary new concepts and models that will completely transform business and assist in achieving a ‘conscious’ business approach.

Dr. Epstein’s models are the next level beyond emotional intelligence, beyond mindfulness, beyond communication skills, beyond personality styles and more. Quite simply these models are about shifting approach, how individuals ‘do’ change and how to leverage so that businesses can innovate and create at faster speeds.

We will be launching an updated website that will include the new programs and exciting application for business prior to February 1st. In the meantime I will be writing blog posts and articles on these new models and am super excited to share this content with my corporate clients.

Stay tuned…..
