A Millennial Asks, “How Can I Influence My Boss?”

Millennials want to stay longer at their workplace, often the challenge is that the company does not offer flex time or remote work. In addition many Millennials struggle with bringing innovative ideas to the table, only to be told their idea won’t work. The workplace is rapidly responding to the changing dynamics of how workers want to work.

At NextMapping we have gathered data from thousands of millennial workers and what attracts them to a workplace as well the factors in the workplace does that keep them engaged.

Recently at a keynote speech I was giving for ICTC-CTIC in Toronto a Millennial texted me a question about he or she could influence his or her boss. Below is my video response to the question.
